Win Tickets to See Iron Man

DVD rental giant, LoveFilm is giving away a pair of tickets to an advance screening of the comic book remake Iron Man.

Paramount pictures’ big screen adaptation of the Marvel superhero is set to hit UK cinemas on 2 May.

However if you answer a simple question on the LoveFilm website, you could be seeing it as early as 28th April; in London’s film capital, Leicester Square!

As well as the preview tickets, our friends at LoveFilm are also giving away 5 copies of the official Iron Man book.

You’ll have to be a Lovefilm member to enter. If you aren’t a member, you can sign up to Lovefilm’s 14 day DVD rental free trial.

Boomerang Pay Homage to GTA 4

WITH only days left until the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto 4, Boomerang games rental are celebrating by making the crime epic their featured game of the week.

On 29th April, the fourth game in the GTA series will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3.

The game follows the story of European immigrant Niko Bellic, hoping to escape his past and find his fortune in Liberty City; ‘gateway to the land of opportunity.’

Developed by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto 4, for the first time ever, will also include an online multiplayer function. This will enable gamers to play with friends, and for Xbox 360 players, an online community of more than 10 million members.

An added bonus for Xbox 360 players is the access they will have to exclusive Grand Theft Auto 4 content, which will be coming in the Autumn.

Easy Cinema’s Top 100 Must-See Movies

JUST to make things even easier for you, EasyCinema DVD Rental have compiled a list of 100 Must See movies. It comes as no surprise that the top 2 spots are taken by The Shawshank Redemption and Pulp Fiction.

The highly acclaimed Internet Movie Database would seem to agree with Stelios’ film buffs, ranking these two movies number 2 and 5 (respectively) of the top 250 films.

However there are a few surprises popping up in Easy Cinema’s list, that don’t appear on IMDB’s. Leon (taking the number 3 spot in Easy Cinema’s 100 Must See Movies list) does not appear anywhere in the IMDB top 250.

Toy Story (number 19 in the EasyCinema DVD Rental list) is way down at number 185 in the IMDB list.

It is worth checking out the EasyCinema DVD Rental list, as it contains a vast array of films, rated U to 18.

LoveFilm Movie Quotes Quiz

DO you think you’re a film buff? If so, the LoveFilm movie quotes quiz could test your film knowledge to the max.

It only takes 60 seconds to play (what apparently is) the world’s fastest trivia quiz.

And we can report it is a lot harder than it sounds!
