THE times they are a-changing over at SwapGame, who had a radical overhaul last month...
SwapGame has been fiddling with its coding, and has launched a new feature-packed website for customers.
What's changed?
SwapGame has updated its selection process online, with a new drag-and-drop playlist facility, which makes it easier for you to pick the games you want to rent. With over 6,800 titles, there are enough to choose from, and on every major platform, including the humble GameCube!
As well as making it easier for you to order your pick of games, and manage your rental queue, you can now manage your account online, or contact their pretty top-notch customer services via e-mail.
If online troubleshooting isn't your bag, then you can call their customer helpline, which is available 6 days a week.
SwapGame has also improved its postal service, meaning you get your games even faster.
The website now also has loads of trailers, reviews and screenshots, and if you fancy yourself as the 21st Century Dominik Diamond, you can submit your own reviews, with the best reviewer of the month winning a game of their choice.
How does it work?
As with a DVD rental service, you pay a monthly charge, pick a game that you like, they whizz it out to you first class, you play it for as long as you like, then send it back and pick another that you want to play.
If you're finding it difficult to part with the game you’ve rented, you can use SwapGame's nifty 'Keep It' feature. Available from your online account, you can choose to buy the game at a reduced price, and they will send on the box and manuals.
How much does it cost?
To celebrate the launch of the new site, SwapGame is offering new members 50% off the first month or a free 10 day trial.
They currently have four different games rental tariffs:

What else should I know?
The improvements apparently haven't stopped there. SwapGame are assuring customers that there are even more new features on the way, but for the time being, they're being kept firmly under their cyberhats.
