You've been on his aeroplanes, you've probably ignored his range of men's products in Boots, you've thought twice about going on an easyCruise and you heard somewhere that there is an easyCinema in Milton Keynes, so why not get your DVD rental from Stelios's big, orange easyCinema DVD rental service?

Clever twist

At first glances easyCinema DVD rental does seem to offer quite a clever twist on the online DVD rental subscription service, making them stick out from a bunch of very similar 'powered by Lovefilm' sites. However, when you get to the nitty-gritty their chosen difference is just a rather complicated credit based system. So much for the 'easy', Stelios!

So, easyCinema DVD rental is based on credits.

You choose a package offering a number of £1.99 credits (1 credit = 1 DVD rental = £1.99) and when you have used up all your credits (or they have expired after 90 days) you buy some more. You can also choose to have automated easyCinema'top-ups' where you will be billed for another set each time you have run out.

Better than Lovefilm?

Would we recommend easyCinema over Lovefilm? Probably not, especially since Lovefilm introduced and identical credit-based system with their Lovefilm PAYG package.

Oh, and did we mention that easyCinema DVD rental is just a re-branded version of the LoveFilm DVD rental service anyway, without all the fun bits that makes Lovefilm so attractive?

"Be warned. If you continue to hold any DVDs when all your credits have expired (90 days from purchase) you will be charged for a new batch of credits. Even if you have Auto Topup on your account disabled! "
