  • Fantastically easy to use
  • Excellent Gameflirt customer service
  • Fast turnaround of games titles
  • Run by gamers for gamers
  • Now includes Nintendo DS games

THERE is something about the GameFlirt service that makes you feel like you are being looked after as a gamer.

It's all about the gamers!

Perhaps it's because the GameFlirt site itself is so slick and works so quickly and efficiently, or perhaps because the site is run by passionate gamers themselves, which means you get treated more like a loyal gaming buddy than a customer.

Not co-incidentally, Gameflirt's strapline reads: 'It's all about the gamers!'

GameFlirt Games Rental is a service for new generation gamers only, stocking only titles for the new generation of consoles: PS3, XBox 360, Wii, PSP and Nintendo DS, but this gives Gameflirt a great tightness of purpose that is lacking in other sites where they try to please everybody and land up being wishy-washy.

Slickly designed

The GameFlirt site itself is slickly designed and very easy to use, especially when compared to the ransom-note style of competitors like GameTart.

Site design may seem a trivial observation when you're trying to judge the efficiency of a games rental company, but after a few months of using an unlimited games rental service, the ease with which you can browse and find titles on their website is, in fact, extremely important.

Turnaround of games from GameFlirt is reasonably fast, which is always one of the benefits of a smaller company like GameFlirt and similarly this means greater access to popular titles. Indeed we can report that games arriving are often quite high on our Gameflirt queue-list.

Love it? Keep it

We especially like GameFlirt's 'Keep It' feature where, if you love the game you are playing, you just click the 'Keep It' button and you'll be charged a discounted rate for that game (as much as 50% off the RRP).

This 'Keep It' feature is perhaps one of the most obvious features for any games rental site, since unlike DVD rental where once you've seen the film, you're pretty done with it, online games rental is more a tool to give you a taster of games you'd like to keep.

Give the gift of game

Gameflirt is also one of the few games rental services that offer gift subscription packages. In this case you can buy a lucky friend or relative a 6 month Gameflirt gift voucher for under £50.

GameFlirt are still young, but we foresee them becoming a major player over the next few years - especially if they drop their prices a bit.

GameFlirt gets two-thumbs up for:
Gameflirt's excellent, friendly customer service. Let's hope they can keep it up as they become a - deservedly - more popular games rental service.

C.G. from Mersey writes... 1/6/2008

"I recently cancelled my subscription to gameflirt and they are trying to say they havent received a returned game and are still billing me."

Mike Parr from Manchester writes... 11/21/2007

"I'm not at all happy with the Gameflirt service. I've got an Xbox 360 and all I've had so far are 3 older titles and now I've had nothing for around 4 or 5 days. Gameflirt service is not good at all, especially if you want newer titles."

James from London writes... 9/27/2007

"A brilliant service let down slightly by disappointing turnaround times and title availability for the Xbox 360. Gameflirt's customer service is brilliant, solving any qualms in a helpful manner within 24 hours, even a game going missing in the post. The Gameflirt site is also easy to use and it's selection of titles is quite large, giving good value for money. I would recommend Gameflirt to anyone under 18 looking for games rental and for anyone closer to London than me."

Peter from London writes... 9/19/2007

"Excellent in every department. Each time i reserved a game, the game was on my doorstop on the day of release! So i had the game before the shops even opened! Any queries are dealt with personally within a matter of hours. This in itself doesn't sound like much, but it's a nice touch compared with other sites that just send out automated pre-written garbage. Score= 10/10"

Anthony from Midlands writes... 8/2/2007

"Poor service and slow turn around. The customer service was also poor. There is a "free" trial period but no games were sent out during this time."
